Louis Jean-Baptiste
Louis attended Florida State University College of Law, where he participated in BLSA (Black Law Student’s Association) and Law School Mock Trial Team. Louis was selected to be a BLSA Mock Trial team member as a first-year law student on a team with all third-year graduating law students. During the yearly National BLSA Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition, his team competed against hundreds of law students from around the United States, including Harvard Law School, University of Washington School of Law, and Washington and Lee University School of Law. His team placed 1st in the country.
Education & Guiding Principles
In his second year of law school, Louis was elected to the Law School Council where he helped allocate funds to student organizations. During his third year of law school, Louis continued to compete on the FSU Mock Trial team. His team placed first at the National Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition in San Francisco, California. Louis ultimately graduated in the Top Third of his class at FSU College of Law.
A simple phrase guides Louis: “Justice just because,” which means we all deserve justice without reason or entitlement. He is also guided heavily by his faith in God.
In his free time, Louis enjoys community service and mentoring children. He also loves spending time with family. He has thirteen nieces and nephews, whom he cherishes.

Qualifications
Louis is admitted to practice in all Florida Courts, Southern District of Florida Federal Court, Middle District of Florida Federal Court, Northern District of Florida Federal Court, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has litigated cases in every federal district court in Florida and more than 20 counties. He loves the courtroom and ensures that every one of his clients feels heard and supported.
